God is there in the surrender.
If you have gone through something really big, really life-altering, you may have reached that point where there is nothing left but prayer. No one wishes for these circumstances, but those who have navigated the pounding waves of distress and grief often look back with gratitude at the inner changes that have taken place. If we can keep our eyes focused on Christ during these times, even if our focus is nothing but a dim gaze, we know we have an advocate in our pain, a friend who has been there. When we pour out our needs to Jesus in prayer, we are rewarded with Divine Mercy. When we have exhausted all recourse and available knowledge, God is there in the surrender.
Color is symbolic in each of my Stations pieces: Red = Points of pain; White = Movement of the Holy Spirit; Blue = God’s presence; Black = the weight of the cross; Neutrals = Humanity.
Pray: For those who suffer from mental illness, that they may not be alone in their suffering.
